2010 UM-FSU Disaster - latest in long line of Shannon's flops

First, let me preface why this blog is just being created - I've finally had enough of Randy Shannon that I want to take to the Internet and at least voice it.  I was never a supporter of Shannon's hiring, and have been skeptical of his coaching in every game since then.  Promoting the defensive coordinator of a failed regime didn't make sense then, and it doesn't make sense now.  So to fast forward 3+ years to October 9, 2010, that marked the latest of Randy Shannon's flops against quality/ranked opponents.  The Canes were blown out from the start, and Randy Shannon, per his usual, sat idly on the sidelines without a hint of emotion or passion.  Whenever the Canes are on their way "back," they have failed to show up in must win games under Shannon to prove that they are "back."  In fact, off the top of my head Randy Shannon has two quality wins under his tenure, both coming in early 2009 (GT and OK), and in retrospect those teams were either overrated at the time, or plagued by key injuries, so the value of those wins is diminished.  There will be plenty more to come in this blog, with a timeline of Shannon blunders from start to present day, but the ball is now rolling.
